Removal of the return-to-work bonus for recipients of the specific solidarity allowance
Article 202 of the 2011 Finance Act repeals the Labour Code section on the return-to-work bonus (Articles L. 5133-1 et seq.), created in 2006. This flat €1,000 bonus was paid to recipients of the specific solidarity allowance (ASS) who resumed work for four consecutive months. Its income tax exemption (Article 81, 9° quinquies of the General Tax Code) is also repealed. The ASS earnings incentive scheme is aligned with that of the earned income supplement (RSA). The article enters into force on 1 January 2011.
