Profit ceiling taxed at the 15% reduced corporate tax rate raised from €38,120 to €42,500
Article 37 of the 2023 Finance Act raises from €38,120 to €42,500 the share of SME profits taxed at the 15% reduced corporate income tax rate (Article 219 of the General Tax Code). The threshold had not changed since 2002.
Measure originators
A positive amount is revenue or savings for public finances; a negative amount is a cost or lost revenue.
Measure impact
Applies to companies with turnover below €10m whose capital is fully paid up and at least 75% held by individuals. The maximum gain is about €438 a year (€4,380 taxed at 15% instead of 25%). Applies to financial years ending on or after 31 December 2022.
