Television advertising tax: new brackets at the top of the scale
The 2005 Finance Act rewrites the scale of the tax on radio and television advertising (article 302 bis KD of the General Tax Code), which funds the local radio support fund (FSER). The quarterly scale is rewritten from the first quarter of 2005: six brackets are added at the top of the television scale: the highest bracket, above €242,086,000 of quarterly revenue, is taxed €1,960,000 per quarter (against €1,420,000 for the top bracket of the former scale, up to €148,351,000). The radio scale is unchanged.
