Reduced VAT on solar panel installations: certified or qualified installer required
Article 94 of the 2026 Finance Act supplements point P of Article 278-0 bis of the General Tax Code (reduced VAT on photovoltaic electricity equipment): installation and maintenance must be carried out by a person holding, during the work, a valid professional certification or qualification matching the type and size of the installation and meeting technical requirements set by a joint order of the budget and energy ministers.
